But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. (Romans 6:22)

In the above verse, we notice that we need to meet 3 conditions to qualify for eternal life.

1. Set free from sin 
2. Become slaves of God
3. Live Holy life

Let’s look in detail about these:

1. Set free from sin:
   Dead to sin, alive to God in Christ Jesus. Should not give in to evil desires.
    offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness
   Dedicate every part (thoughts, mind, eyes, ears, mouth, heart, hands, feet) as righteous instrument. Make a decision that you will not do evil things with any part of the body. (Romans 6:13)
2. Become slaves of God:
   Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.(Romans 6:19)

Slaves have no self will. So, when we make a decision to live for God alone, regardless of temptations, pressures, sufferings and persecution, we become slaves of God, we continue to serve God, live for God alone.

3.Live Holy Life:
When we die to sin and become slaves of God, we start living a Holy Life. (Romans 6:22)

Our Holy Life on earth qualifies us for the ETERNAL LIFE with God the Father.

Are we qualified for eternal life? If Lord Jesus comes now, do we enter heaven or will we be thrown into hell?

Are we dead to sin?
Does every part of our body work as an instrument of righteousness to God?

If not, let us repent and start to live for God alone.
