You are the temple of God!

1 Kings 6: 7
And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

God was very particular in building of the temple, He didn’t like breaking, making noise, while in construction. Every stone has to be hewn properly before it was brought to the temple.
Earlier when God wants to build the altar also, He didn’t want to use the tools (see Ex 20:25)
The altar speaks about our heart and the temple speaks about our body
These are the two places where the Spirit of God dwells.

The axe, the hammer and the tools of iron are very sharp and are used for breaking and cutting.

We shouldn’t use harsh words, hurting words, abuses, nor curses against anybody, especially against the children of God. Our speech should be always with grace seasoned with salt (Col 4:6)

You are harsh with someone means you are harsh with God. You are always disturbed, shouting and screaming means you are not reconciled with God.
Preparation of our hearts in tune with the will of God is required.
We are the spiritual temples of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in us (read  1 Cor 3:16).

King David was continuously making wars, therefore God didn’t want to build the temple through him. God desired to build temple through King Solomon because he was seen in peace and in rest with all his enemies.

The stones were made ready before and brought to fit in their position.
We have to prepare our hearts in the light of the word of God.
We should exercise Peace, rest and tranquility in our lives, than only the temple will be constructed in us – the Spirit of God will dwell in us, thereby the divine character of God can be formed in us.

Stay Blessed 😊
