There is joy in taking other people where they couldn’t go by themselves

God uses our mistakes, disappointments, delays, setbacks, detours to move us into our purpose *There is joy in taking other people where they couldn’t go by themselves* Jesus has a hope and a bright future for you.

And blessed is your advice and blessed are you, because you have kept me this day from coming to bloodshed and from avenging myself with my own hand.

So when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the Lord who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand from Nabal and has kept his servant from evil. For the Lord has returned the wickedness of Nabal on his own head. And David sent and proposed to Abigail, to take her as his wife.

1 Samuel 25:33, 39
We serve a God who is wisdom, and the Bible says that if anyone lacks wisdom let him ask of God and He gives it to all liberally without reproach. Every problem is wisdom problem, in our problems running to God is wisdom, otherwise many people run to the world in their problems. Wisdom (Jesus ) saves us from every problem and He is the only answer to all of mankind’s problems.

The above scripture portion tells us that David is thanking Abigail for her advice at the right time. David had a problem he had no food, so he sent his men to collect food from Nabal and he insults David by sending them back without food and David wanted to kill him, but Abigail stops him and reminds him of the promise over his life, the future king of Israel. David had cooly and completely forgotten about the promise over his life and he wanted to turn into a murderer by killing Nabal, but Abigail stopped him. When we leave vengeance into the hands of God the end result and the outcome will be different. Abigail asked David not to take revenge and give it into God’s hands, the result was Nabal died and went to the grave, David became the king and Abigail became his wife (queen).

An excellent wife is the crown of her husband ( Proverbs 12:4 ), A prudent wife is from the Lord ( Proverbs 19:14 ). God wanted to kill Moses, but his wife Zipporah intervened, and He spared his life ( Exodus 4:24-26 ). It pays to have a good and God fearing wife, had Abigail been there by David’s side she wouldn’t have allowed him to commit the adultery with Bathsheba, she would stopped him from falling. God used David’s mistakes for His glory Jesus came through the lineage of David ( Jesus came into this world not to condemn the world but to save it, He came to save sinners). Kindness pays in the kingdom of God, one small act of kindness and love, Abigail brought bread and wine for David and one small advice at the right time and she became the queen.

One of the reasons for David’s success was his humbleness, he was always ready to listen (only humble people listen, the proud will always resist) he listened to the advice of Abigail and didn’t commit a murder and shed blood. Humbleness made him correct himself and repent for his mistakes, when Nathan the prophet corrected him about his adultery with Bathsheba, he went to God and repented of his mistake.

In the kingdom of God nothing is wasted, even our mistakes also God turns it around and uses it for His glory. Abraham’s mistake Ishmael turned out to be a blessing for Joseph, the Ishmaelites purchased him and took him to Egypt after his brothers threw him into the pit, had the Ishmaelites not come on time Joseph’s story would have ended in the pit, but because of their intervention in the problem Joseph landed up in Egypt and he became the governor.

Saul was a murderer and he persecuted believers with his hands, God turned his story around and He made him Paul and he used the same hands of Paul to write thirteen epistles in the new testament and to heal the sick, raise the dead and to plant many churches. Peter started the new covenant church, but the new covenant church follows the writings and teachings of Paul.

Beloved nothing is wasted in the kingdom of God, God doesn’t count our mistakes, He doesn’t even remember them, He uses them to bless others and to bring glory to His name. ( The grace of God is not a licence to sin).

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember them no more.

Hebrews 8:12
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting, On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children.

Psalms 103:17
Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for forgiving all our sins and mistakes, give us the grace not to commit the same sins and mistakes over and over again, give us the strength to overcome all our weaknesses and use everyone for the expansion of Your kingdom in Jesus name we ask and pray.
Amen and Amen.
God loves you
Blessings
