Satan was an anointed cherub created by God, but pride entered into it and it wanted to be like God, so it was thrown out from heaven and in the end it will be thrown into the fires of hell where it will burn continually for eternity. The above scripture portion tells us that Uzziah a sixteen year old was made king and he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but after some time pride entered into him and he entered into the temple of the Lord got angry with the priests and leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of the Lord ( not outside ).

Saul was anointed by God to be the king of Israel, David was also anointed by God to be the king. David a man after Gods own heart knew that Saul was anointed, he knew the results of touching the anointed, even though he had the opportunity to kill Saul who was after his life, he didn’t do it, because he knew the secret that if he touches the Lord’s anointed then he would never prosper in any area of his life, so he let go of Saul several times without killing him. Saul was foolish, he didn’t value the anointing and he didn’t respect the anointed, he hunted for David’s life who was also anointed by God. In the end Saul took his life with his own hands and perished, whereas David became the king of Israel.

Jesus was anointed to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and give liberty to those who were oppressed and He performed healings, miracles, raised the dead and great signs and wonders. The chief priests got jealous and offended with Jesus, Judas the disciple of Jesus, the chief treasurer in Jesus ministry got unnecessarily entangled with the chief priests and he sold Jesus for thirty pieces of silver and in the end he ended up taking his own life with his own hands, had he not stood against Jesus the anointed, even he would also like the other disciples of Jesus would have done a mighty work for Jesus, his standing against Jesus the anointed robbed him of his glorious destiny in Christ ( always remember never stand against God and His anointed and the preaching of the gospel, the results will be too dangerous ).

A criticising spirit is not from God, it is from the devil. Many in the body of Christ fall into the trap of Satan, they instead of preaching the gospel to the world, stand against men and women of God who preach the gospel and do God’s work. It has become a full time fashionable job for many to touch the anointed men and women of God ( wonder who gave them the power and authority to do this ). Many without reading and knowing the Bible properly unnecessarily stand against men and women of God, they criticize their teachings, miracles and healings performed by them, they have cooly, and completely forgotten that Jesus has paid the price with His precious blood and redeemed the church, His bride and He knows to whom the kingdom work can be entrusted ( not us ).

If you are a real born again believer, a child of God then you will never stand against men and women of God who do kingdom work. If possible try to preach the gospel and help men and women of God who preach the gospel. If we stand against men and women of God, we will end up not being fruitful in any area of our lives, for an entire life time. Our job is to preach the gospel and help others who preach the gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the work of revival and draw the lost and perishing souls in the world to Christ ( we should preach the gospel, if others get offended, so be it ).

But you have an anointing from the Holy One and you know all things.

1 John 2:20
Do not touch My anointed ones and do my prophets no harm.

1 Chronicles 16:22.
Heavenly Father thank You for the word, give us the grace to love and respect the anointed and never to stand against men and women of God who preach the gospel. Give us a discerning spirit to identify between anointed men and women of God and fake ones. Give us the grace to preach the gospel and help men and women of God who preach the gospel, to be blessed and be a blessing to others and the kingdom in Jesus name we ask and pray.
