Faith, Mighty faith looks to God alone
The shunammite woman realised that Elisha was a man of God and so she prepared a room for him to use whenever he was in town she did this out of kindness and because she sensed a need, and not for any selfish motives.
But a true man of God will never remain in debt to such people. Her kindness was rewarded far beyond her wildest dreams.Elisha prayed for her and she had a son within a year.
That child grew up and one day became sick and died (4:20). Look at the faith of the mother.she did not bury the child immediately. But said, let me first contact the man of God 4:25
So she went to meet Elisha. When Elisha saw her from the distance he told Gehazi to ask her Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with your child?
Look at the anwer of faith that she gave concerning her dead child, it is well what faith that woman had. Elisha went and prayed for that child and raised him from the dead. It is amazing to see what that mother’s faithdid for that child. According to her faith she received.
So she is among the heroes of faith women received backtheir dead, raised to life again Heb 11:35. God does miracles wherever He finds someone in faith

Simple thoughts for
💫deeper meditation.
2 Kings: 6: 16, 17
“So he answered, Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And Elisha prayed and said, “Lord I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”
âš¡In the Old Testament, Aram was the territory that today is known as Syria. It’s
capital, Damascus, was one of the great cities of ancient times, and continued to be
prominent in the New Testament also.
âš¡It seemed as if Elisha and his servant were about to be captured and carried off to the king of Aram. The king’s forces has surrounded the city where Elisha and his servant were
staying.
âš¡The servants saw the huge army and was terrified. But Elisha knew he was seeing only the danger and the size of the opposition. He needed to have his eyes opened to see the divine protection that surrounded them, which was far greater than anything Aram could
bring against Elisha. When Elisha prayed, the servant was able to see the multitudes of supernatural forces that were in place to protect them.
âš¡Fear make us feel weak and helpless and causes us to think we are alone in the world. But God has assured us that “His spirit in us is greater than any worldly power. (1 John: 4:4)
âš¡When life is difficult and we feel we are under pressure, it is so easy to see
nothing but the problems. Here Elisha prayed for his servant to get opened his eyes by God. God opened his inner eyes to behold His wonderful protection.
âš¡ Do you feel overpowered and helpless ? Whenever we are discouraged by the evil
we see with our natural eyes we need to think instead about the good work, God is
doing, and pray to Him to open your spiritual eyes to behold it. David prayed
such a prayer. “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law” (Psalm: 119:18)
âš¡Scripture speaks of unseen angels protecting God’s people. (Psalm:34.7, Daniel: 3:25-28, Acts 5:19, 12:7) Angels are God’s servants- spirit sent to care for His people. Believe, “He can command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways” (Psalm: 91: 11)
Fear not, for God is with us and for us.
