Simple thoughts for deeper meditation

🍇 Deuteronomy 32- 34

  Simple thoughts for
  deeper meditation💎

Deuteronomy: 34: 5, 6
” And Moses the servant
of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord has said.
He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite
Beth-peor, but to this day.no
one knows where his grave is”
⚡ There is always somethings sad in farewells
The farewell mentioned in the last chapter of
Deuteronomy is so pathetic.
Moses was one of the greatest men that ever lived. We think it a pity that he
was not allowed to enter into the promised land. But
God knew the best, because Moses left the mount Nebo
for a land far better than
Canaan.
⚡ He was honoured to
become the only man whose
funeral was conducted by
God Himself. After long years, God sent Moses to
Canaan with Elijah to stand
with Jesus in the mount of
Transfiguration.
(Mathew : 17: 3 )
🎗 The great lesson which
the last chapter of Deutero
nomy gives is that we all
die one day. Death is sure
but time is not sure. The
Bible firmly says that,” it is
appointed for man to die
once,and after that comes
judgment” ( Heb: 9: 27)
The pertinent question is
whether you are ready to
face the death. We may
not be pre informed about
our death, as in the case of
King Hezekiah (Isaiah:38:1)
So let us set our houses
in order because we will die.
When your time comes to die, the important thing is not the grandeur of the
funeral, but the greatness
of your life. In fact, how you
live now will determine how
you will die then.
Paul says, ” I have fought
the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept
the faith. Henceforth there is
laid up for me the crown of
righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous will award to me on that day.
( 2 Timothy : 4: 7,8 )
🎗Do you have such a hope
in your life ?
The Last chapter of the Bible gives two glorious
prospects to His redeemed
ones:

  1. They shall see His face.
  2. They shall reign for ever
    and ever.
