Moses, the man of God knew the importance and power of prayer. He who prays realizes the power of prayer. God was with the Israelites, leading them in the wilderness. Their journey to the Promised Land was filled with prayers.

Rising Prayer
📖 So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O LORD! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.” (Num 10:35).

Moses prayed before starting that day’s journey. The journey was perilous and unless and until God rises on their behalf they cannot survive. So they journeys were covered with prayers from the beginning.

Resting Prayer
📖 And when it rested, he said: “Return, O LORD, To the many thousands of Israel.” (Num 10:36).

Bible commentators say that Moses would stand, lift his hands up and begged God’s mercy on resting. The days tiredness failed to prevent him praying. He pleaded His divine presence while going out and coming in.

Dear Ones in Christ, we are on our way to the Promised Land of Eternal Canaan. This journey is not an easy one. There are many trials, troubles, tribulations and temptations. To reach our destination safely we need God every hour of our life.

We need to rise up with prayers, relax in prayer and rest in the night with prayers. Our going out and coming in should be covered in prayer. God must go before us if we want the day to be productive and progressive. From the beginning till the end we have to pray, pray and keep on praying till we reach our Promised Land.
