No author is given for Psalm 92

Psalm 92:4-5 “For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.”

No author is given for Psalm 92.

Psalm 92 is an invitation to the House of God to make use of the Sabbath as the day of the Lord.
The opening section of the Psalm expresses the joy of praising God in public worship.
The above verses tell us that God is working all around us and in us.

Three times in these 2 verses we see reference to God’s work.
It tell us that God is intimately involved in every part of our lives.

God created us in His infinite wisdom.
Medical science is still trying to figure how some parts of our body work.
Other fields of science are also working on computers and robots that can imitate how the human mind works or how the human eye works.
So.. our creator knows what is best for us.
In fact, the Holy Spirit living within us, is filling up with God’s energy and power in us.

God is also working through all the things, good and bad, that happen all around us.

Are we aware of and watching for God’s work all around us and in us?

When we become aware of God’s work all around us and in us, we will have lots of reasons to give thanks and praise him.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord.

This is true because God is worthy of our praise, but worship is also good for us.

Worship is for our good, not God’s.
God does not need our worships, but we need to worship him.
The Sabbath was made for man, not the man for Sabbath”.
Time devoted to worship is good for our body and soul”.

God feeds our soul and our body, even if we don’t understand “how” it happens.

Never stop giving thanks for everything that God puts in our path.
Never take things for granted.
Never forget that God bestow His great and wonderful spiritual blessings on us.

It is never normal what God has given to us.

Keep praising God if He has kept us faithful all these years, and
never stop to be thankful for What God Has Done For Us.

We are planted in the house of the Lord.
