We are crossing a month in this 270 day Bible reading program. I am thankful to Lord Jesus for bringing me into a loving family of believers from all around the globe. I am thankful to my neighbor aunty by whom I came into the previous Bible study program. Being a Hindu, coming to the faith in Christ, trying to know the God more, this Bible study program showed me Jesus, through the insights which were posted. I started to understand the Bible more, through the insights which motivated me to read the Bible. By the end of the previous Bible study program I gained control over my bad addictions.

Then one day God told me to start writing insights and share my message for the 270 day Bible reading program. Actually I am so weak in talking to people like I get stuck with words like Moses but I realised I have a skill of writing wordings for projects which I did alone for my academics, without any help from my fellow team mates. Yes, God understood my skill and he called me to share the insights of his word.

As this 270 day Bible reading program began I started writing insights with the help and blessings from Rev C V Abraham father, the leader of the Bible reading program, motivating me in my spiritual journey. I am thankful to God to get in contact with Abraham father, by whom I am growing more in Christ.

The Holy Spirit told me to eliminate some of the worldly things which were acting as hindrances in my faith. I was addicted to a mobile game and I stopped playing it. I used to listen to rap and rock songs. I deleted all those unpleasant songs from my phone. I had cool pictures of skull, dragons etc which I later on understood was demonic, I deleted them also. I started surrendering to God to receive his wisdom.

When I surrendered I am now able hear Holy Spirit more boldly than before, as a teacher guiding his student. My speed in reading got increased and I am now able to understand scripture better than before. Through Bible reading I am able to make better decisions in life and I even shared gospel to my mother who is an unbeliever. She responded with anger but still I hold on to the promise which Paul gave to the jailer : They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” – Acts 16:31.

God also started giving me more warnings when sin creeps in life as I am reading the word now with more dedication. My concentration in praying got increased. I am assembling the parts of the double edged sword through this Bible reading program to face the spiritual warfare: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart -Hebrews 4:12.

Being born in another faith, not being member of any Church still, I am holding on to Christ with the help of God’s word: Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. – Psalms 119:105. I am able to write devotionals only by HIS grace. If I can, everyone can share insights in our Bible reading group. God will strengthen you and HE will provide you the necessary resources to share HIS message.

And for those who are quitting this mission of Bible reading in between, all I want to say is if you miss a day reading Bible due to busy situations you can make it up later on, God will provide the time as he created the time. Devil will say: you did a very great sin today you are not worthy to continue the Bible reading program, you missed today’s portion, it’s better to quit and all kind of stupid reasons. My dear believers don’t listen to his words, he is saying this because he doesn’t want you to forge the double edged sword – the word of God. Only by the word of God you can fight the Devil and win the spiritual warfare and defeat him.

So I encourage everyone to add more people into our group to fight this spiritual warfare, encourage the teammates by writing insights on the word and stay firm in this mission by prayer and meditation on word focusing on the eternal and joyful relationship with our Lord Jesus here in Earth and eternal life with Him in Heaven.
