I am Mrs. Shanthi Samuel from Chennai. I was introduced to this 270 days Bible reading program by brother Jebasing Simeon.
Though I was from a traditional Christian family I accepted the Lord only when I was 33 years old. My desire to read the Word of God had increased so much after my born again experience, but it was not systematic. Over the years I did my Theological studies in 4 different Bible colleges one after the other. Except 2 Colleges the other Colleges had only the New Testament as my reading requirement. So I have read the whole Bible twice. But meditating the chapters & writing insights was never required of me.
When I joined this program first I didn’t have the confidence if it’s possible for me to do but as the days go by I found this to be very interesting.
Many unseen truths were revealed by the Holy Spirit to me personally. Those in our group are also being blessed by this program as they regularly read the daily Bible portions.
I thank God for Rev. Abraham who introduced this program by God’s Grace.
My favorite verse is Psalm 119:105  “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” We need this “lamp” & “light” everyday of our lives. This is practically possible only by reading HIS WORDS & meditating them on a Daily basis. This program is a great tool for that task.
This program is a blessing not only for me but to everyone who is part of this program. Insights written by different readers are very useful to my spiritual life!
May God add more people to this program in the coming days!

Testimony

I am Pastor Amos Samson serving the Lord in Apostolic Christian Assembly, Chromepet, Chennai. I have been in the Pastoral service for over 30 years. I have tried to encourage my church believers to study the Bible for so many years but everything proved to be futile. However, by God’s grace I completed reading the Bible nine times.

I was introduced to 240 days Bible reading by Pastor Jebasingh Simeon last time. Now, we are more than half way into the 270 days Bible reading. I feel it is a good initiative by Rev. Abraham.

It is really very interesting to see wonderful insights of many readers.
I praise God for the good work that He is doing amongst His children.
I pray that God wou upld do greater things than ever before.

“Thanks for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this group.
It has first of all disciplined me with keeping up with Daily Bible reading schedules.
I learnt how we are all fallen, but God does not give up on His people throughout the Bible.
He loves us so much that He sent His only Son to take away our sins by dying on the cross for us.
He wants us to respond to Him by repenting of our sins and accepting Him as our personal Saviour.
In these challenging times, He has taught me that those who seek shelter in Him will find Him a refuge and shelter in the storms of life.
I am strengthened by His promises as I go through the storms in my life.
He gives me the peace that passes all understanding.
He is with me and I am confident that He will see me through in my life here on earth, to finish my race well. The best book to read is the Bible.
God speaks to us through His Word. It is full of ways to live a God centred life, following which our lives will be enriched.
The Word of God transforms us.
I have become more trusting, faithful, peaceful and drawn closer to Him.
He has promised never to leave those who seek Him.
I am sure He will see me through the trials and tribulations of the world, helping me to run my race well.
The reflection s by the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ, helped me understand difficult passages better.
