Don’t become prey for Satan
1 Chronicles 21:1
And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.
This morning as I was reading the Bible portion, I came across the word satan for the first time. I thought let’s take heed of it.
Just as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are triune.
Satan is also a triune, the devil, the antichrist and the false prophet
In these days people are thinking and talking about the Antichrist more than in the past. It is indeed an undeniable fact that these are the end-times. While the Church is getting ready to meet Christ who is to appear soon to take away His Bride, the world is rolling out the red carpet to usher in the rule of the Antichrist. Very soon the world-regime will pass into thehands of this ruler who will hold sway over every human life on earth. An in-depth analysis of the Scriptures tells us that he will enforce his laws on the people, make a false treaty with the jews, and finally demand worship by declaring himself to be God!
After the rapture of the perfected saints at the secret coming of Christ, the devil ( depicted as the dragon), will give his seat , power and great authority to the Antichrist ( beast rising from the sea) (Rev. 13:1,2). And, together with the false prophet (beast coming up out of the earth) (vs.11), they will make a trio and establish a world government that will last for seven years. This period, known as the Period of Tribulation, will culminate in the battle of Armageddon, at the end of which, the Antichrist and the false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire (Rev.19:20). The devil will be thrown into this same place after the battle of Gog and Magog which will take place after the Millennium reign (Rev. 20:7-10).
Though the Antichrist will actually come into power as world-ruler only after the secret advent of Jesus, the trinity of satan is at work in the world even now. In I John 4:1-4 St. John says that many false prophets have gone out into the world and that the Antichrist is already in the world. The devil is referred to as ‘he that is in the world’. There arises therefore, the need for us to discern and resist the subtle working of these spirits.
Satan is liar, cheater, and destroyer.
Christ is the Lamb of God
Satan is the terrible beast
Christ is the mystery of godliness
Satan is the mystery of iniquity
Christ is the one rejected of men
Satan is the accepted of men
Christ is the redeemer
Satan is the destroyer
Be aware, be careful
Stay Blessed 😊
