Shepherd boy to the King of Israel

Here I am, living in a palace of Cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent. 2.Samuel.7:2

This is what King David told prophet Nathan after he was settled in his palace and the Lord gave him rest from all his enemies. He is concerned about God and His glory.

2.Sam.7:4- 16 is God’s message to David through Nathan. God is revealing His plan for David and for his descendants. I took you from the pasture and from following the flock to be ruler over my people Israel” (2 Sam.7:8)

2.Samuel.7:18- 29 is David’s prayer before the Lord. He is starting with a question “Who am I , O Soverign Lord and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? 2.Sam.7:18.

Do we remember the living condition of our forefathers? Who brought us to this stage in our life today? Socially, educationally, economically….From a shepherd boy to the King of Israel. From pasture to palace.

Today are we concerned about God, His ministry and His ministers? What are we doing about it?

Many ministries and ministers are going through great problems. What can we do about it?

What is our contribution in building God’s Kingdom?
