You are representing Jesus well as a kingdom citizen

Three things opens the heavens, consistent and persistent prayers, sacrifices and obedience *Always evaluate your thoughts, actions and motives, so you can prove if you are representing Jesus well as a kingdom citizen.

And David’s heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the Lord,” I have sinned greatly in what I have done, but now, I pray, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly”.

Then the king said to Araunah, “No I will surely buy it from you for a price, nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord which costs me nothing”. So David bought the threshing floor for fifty shekels of silver.

And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt and peace offerings.

2 Samuel 24:10,24,25.
We serve a God who is merciful, and He shows His mercy to generations. The above scripture portion tells us that David is repenting of the mistake that he had done by numbering the people, he is asking from God to take away the iniquity from him, and he is also telling that it is better to fall in the hands of God, for His mercies are great.

Repentance is one of the greatest gift that God has given to mankind. One of the reasons for David’s success was that he was a man of repentance, whenever he committed any mistake he turned to God and repented. Only the humble will turn to God and repent, the proud will always resist. The grace ( Gods riches at Christ’s expense ) of God is for the humble the proud don’t receive it, because they try doing everything in their own strength and fail and then they come running to God.

The reason why David is known as a man after God’s own heart is, because he placed God above everything else in his life, for anything and everything he would turn to God for help, even though he was a king he used to always inquire from God, he had a listening ear and a obeying heart and he did whatever God asked him to do and when he failed sometimes, he would ask God to forgive him. David had a deeper relationship with God that is why he is telling, it is better to fall in the hands of God than men, because His mercies are great and forever for generations. David knew the forgiving nature of God, so he wrote

The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.

The Lord is good to all, for His tender mercies are over all His works.

Psalms 145:8,9.
One of the reasons for David’s success was that he was a mega giver, he gave the best to God. The reason why his generations were blessed after him is because of his giving to God. The reason why Solomon was rich is, because his father David was a big giver. David made all the arrangements for the building of the temple and he passed it on to his son Solomon who built it, he couldn’t do it, because God didn’t allow him to do it as there was too much blood shed on his hands.

Nothing leaves heaven before something leaves the earth. Jesus paid the price with His life on the cross of Calvary on this earth, so that we would be blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Him. Whenever you give to God and for His kingdom purpose, Heaven turns around to bless, prosper and reward you.

If you, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?.

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

Psalms 130:3,4.
Heavenly Father thank You for the word, give us the grace to repent of our mistakes, thank You for the blood of Jesus which takes away all our sins, thank You for forgiving our sins and remembering them no more. Give us the grace to give You the first place in every area of our lives and give us the heart to give our finances for the expansion of Your kingdom on this earth and win souls for Christ in Jesus name we ask and pray.
Amen and Amen
God loves you
Blessings
