Who knows?

Esther 4: 14
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Who knows? God had a purpose in Esther becoming a queen. God willed to provide protection and support to the Jews through her. Esther did not become a queen accidentally but she received that greatness from God as He had a purpose.

Who knows? Do not forget that God had a purpose in saving you. It is with a purpose, He is keeping you in a work spot. It is with an aim God has brought you to a particular place to reside. One day, you will understand the reason fully.

Who knows? That day, the people of Nineveh prayed to God earnestly. The king of the land of Nineveh said, “Who can tell if God will turn and relent and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?” (Jonah 3:9) Yes. Their prayer saved the entire Nineveh, 1, 20,000 people in it and also the animals there.

Who knows? That day, when a boy gave five loaves and two fish to God, did he know that God would feed five thousand persons with that and that event would find a permanent mention in the Scripture? Did a slave girl know when she spoke to her master who had enslaved her, about God and the prophet Elijah that her act would heal leprosy of the master with which he was suffering and her few words would cause such a great redemption?

Who knows? When Andrew introduced Peter to Jesus Christ, did he know that within a short period of three years Peter would become a big Apostle and he would guide people to the Heavenly Kingdom in three thousand and five thousand through his preaching?

Who knows? When Martin Luther entered a small room, locked and prayed, did he know that God would exalt him so greatly and enable him to establish such huge churches?

Who knows? In his youth days, Moody the devotee was a poor labourer in a small shop. At that time, a Sunday school teacher spoke to him about Jesus Christ and guided him into Salvation. Did that Sunday school teacher know that in future that youth would become a great servant of God who could shake the entire world? One day Zacchaeus climbed a tree and did he know that this act would enable Jesus Christ to visit his home? Did he know, a change for good, would happen within himself because of that?

“For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth” (Zac 4:10).

Stay Blessed 😊
