God details several of the offerings His people were to bring Him _ rams and bulls, bread, wine and oil. As priests burned up these offerings, the people saw a sign that their sins had gone up in a smoke As people worshiped the one true God, the Lord fulfilled His promise to dwell among the Israelites and be their God 29;45. The people saw that God saved them from slavery and now lived in their midst.lord is never distant, He is always present with His people.

♨️ Altar of Burnt Offering ♨️

The altar was made of acacia wood overlayed with bronze. Projection of the four corner points were horns also overlayed with bronze. The horns were symbols of help and refuge. They symbolised the atoning power of the altar. Some of the blood was put on the horns before the rest was poured out at the base. The altar would be carried by two poles on the sides of the altar.

🕎 Oil for Lamp Stand 🕎
Clear oil of pressed olives would be used for the lamps which should burn from evening till morning.

👘 Priestly Garments 👘
Priestly garments were made for Aaron and his sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. It consisted of a breastplate, an ephod a robe, a woven tunic a turban and a sash. They would serve God as priests.

🦺 Ephod is a sleeveless vestment worn by the priests. It had a waist band to hold the front and back of the ephod to the priests body. On two onyx stones the names of the sons of Israel were engraved in order of their birth ….six names on each of the stones. The stones were fastened on the shoulder pieces as a memorial before the Lord.

💠 The Breast Plate 💠
The breast plate was a square. Four rows of precious stones were mounted on it, three stones on each row. Each stone bore the name of a tribe. Aaron would bear the names of the sons of Israel on his heart as a memorial before the Lord. The Urim and Thummim which were sacred lots were on the breast plate.

🔥 Consecration of Priests 🔥
Aaron and his sons had to be consecrated for seven days to serve as priests. The Tent of Meeting and the altar were also consecrated. God said He would dwell among Israel to be their God. They would know He is the God who brought them out of Egypt. He would be the Lord their God.

🧂 Sacred Anointing Oil & Incense 🧂
With the ingrediants prescribed by God Himself the Sacred Anointing Oil was prepared to consecrate Aaron and his sons. The Sacred Incense ground to powder was placed in front of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting. The Sacred anointing oil and incense were most holy.

🔸 We are so Blessed 🔸
In the Old Testament only the High Priest could enter the Most Holy Place once a year. After the death of Jesus Christ the curtain was rent in Twain and now we are able to enter the presence of our Holy God in the name of Jesus and through the shed blood and call Him ABBA FATHER. Let us worship our God with a thankful heart in Spirit and in Truth.
