It has become a norm that humans are bound to fail or be defeated in so many areas of their lives, because failure is always attached to human life *However there is a realm where all things become possible, it is not just a realm, it is life – Spirit life.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

Ezekiel 36:26-28.
We serve a God who is our Savior. The greatest gift of God to mankind is the gift of salvation through His Son Jesus. People who are saved and born again only will know the value and benefits of salvation, how precious and how priceless it is. Many of us might be praying that our loved ones, friends and relatives might know the Lord, get saved and be born again. The above scripture portion tells us that God will take out their stony heart and replace it with a heart of flesh and put a new Spirit in them and that they will walk in His statues and keep His judgements, and He will be their God and they will be His people. God gives a new heart and a spirit to a person, not to run after the things of the world, but to follow Him and in His ways all the days of his life. (one person saved, his entire future generations are saved).

A person who is really saved and born again will be different from others, his thinking, speech, habits and actions will be entirely different when compared to the people in the world (that’s how you identify a good believer). A person who is born again will have the same physical appearance but his mind, heart and spirit will be changed, he will not remain the same old person. God will change his mind, heart and spirit that is why the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation the old is gone and the new is come.

Heart is the most important part of the body, with the heart we first believe in Jesus and then we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and savior then we are saved. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. No one can change the heart of another person, only God can change a person’s heart. The heart of even the king is in the hands of God and He can turn it anytime, anywhere for His glory. Don’t be surprised if any unbelieving persecuting king, prime minister or president preaches the Gospel, when God changes and turns their hearts, they will have to dance according to His tunes (they have no other option left, but to simply dance). God drove king Nebuchadnezzar from men and made him to eat grass (Daniel 4:32-37).

Sometimes many of us don’t receive answers to our prayers, because we pray the problem and not the promise of God, or for the root of the problem. Lilly Mary might pray for decades about John David’s drinking problem, but still he remains the same (no changes at all the intake should have increased radically after the prayers). The reason is wrong prayers (God stop the drinking problem). The problem is in the heart (not liquor problem, not mouth problem, but purely heart problem). The heart desires for liquor, so John David forgets Lilly Mary’s daily scoldings and prayers and runs after liquor. Lilly Mary’s prayer should be Lord change John David’s heart, if the heart is changed then John David will not run after liquor. If the heart is saved then a person is saved from every bad thing around him, instead of running after liquor John David will be busy reading the Bible, praying, going to church and Bible study regularly and God will give him the grace to spread the Gospel.

Many of us who are saved and born again wish and pray that our loved ones are also saved and be born again. We pray that they should not indulge in the passing passions and pleasures of the world, instead we should pray that God would remember and visit them, change their hearts and turn their hearts towards Him. If anyone is suffering with difficult unbelieving life partner, children’s and family members, I would like to encourage you to take hold of the above promises in verses 26 and 27 and pray accordingly and see God changing and turning the heart of your loved ones towards Him. What God has done for others, He will do it for you.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for the gift of salvation, thank You for the new heart and spirit that You have put within us. Lord we uphold every person who is not saved and born again in our families, friends and relatives, remember and visit each one of them, change their stony hearts into hearts of flesh and put a new spirit in them, give them the grace to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and savior of their lives in Jesus name we ask and pray.
