You don’t have to do extraordinary things to become extraordinary *You are extraordinary because you have an extraordinary God who will do extraordinary things for you *It is a waste of time to get up early and stay up late to make a living* The Lord provides for those He loves even while they are sleeping.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8
We serve a God who always desires to see His children prosperous and successful. The above scripture portion tells us the simple secret of how to be prosperous and successful and it is only through the word of God.

Blessings and prosperity is from God, curses and poverty is from the devil, it is in our hands to desire and choose what we want. God will not force anything on us, He set it before us, it is our desire and duty to choose what we want, in every time, situation and area it is in our hands to say yes to God and walk with Him, or say no to God and walk with the devil. God didn’t create poverty in the garden of Eden there was abundance and everything was good ( gold flowed from the river Pishon ). It was in Adams hand to choose what he wanted, he chose to eat from the tree of knowledge instead of eating from the tree of Life, so sin, sickness, poverty and death set in and he was sent out from the garden from where abundance was into scarcity ( toil and hardwork set in ) and Christ came into this world to redeem us from these and it is in our hands to stay redeemed or get back into sin, sickness, poverty and death. Blessings, prosperity and abundance is not our God, Jesus is our God.

One of the main reason why many of us suffer in lack and poverty is, because we don’t give importance to the word of God, we don’t read, meditate and practice what is written in it. Many of us wrongly think it is another book which is to be read, forgotten and not practiced. Many read it like history only to get some information and knowledge, some religiously read it, because they think that they are merely performing their religious duty, but there are many of them who read, listen, meditate, pray, practice and preach it, the word of God has become life for them without which they cannot survive, even if there is no food and water they will survive, but if there is no word of God they simply cannot and will not survive ( the word of God is life and it gives life ).

The Bible is like any other printed book, by itself it has no power, even if you religiously keep it on a book shelf or under your pillow for decades nothing will change, we will remain the same and our conditions will remain the same ( no changes ) but if we open the Bible read, meditate, pray, practice and preach from it, we will fall in love with God – life, spiritual and physical healing, deliverance, prosperity, answers and solutions to all the problems and challenges that the entire mankind has on the face of the earth will flow from the Bible.

We are so blessed to have the Bible in so many translation and languages which our spiritual forefathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph didn’t have, they didn’t have the written word of God they only had the spoken word of God, but we have the written word of God that we can run to it any time of the day and receive answers and solutions to all the problems and challenges that we have and face.

Beloved even if you loose anything and everything on the face of this earth never lose the habit of reading, listening, meditating, praying, practicing and preaching the word of God, one word from God, one word from His word is more than enough to change your life long perennial problem, times, seasons and circumstances close your sad story and give you brand new beginnings.

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

I will delight myself in Your statutes, I will not forget Your word.

This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.

Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for the written word that You have given to us, give us the grace to always thirst for the word, read and meditate on it day and night and to practice it and make our way prosperous and successful in Jesus name we ask and pray.
