Look to the Lord’s Face

Look to the Lord’s Face when Facing the Corona and His Strength and not how strong the virus isโ€ฆ Psalm 105:4.

๐ŸŒฝ Going through the three-tier Lockdown has taught me to just keep looking to the Lord’s face and in His strength to overcome the strong virus which cannot stand before God’s power. Nothing can stand before God. Everything has to bow in the Name of Jesus, Philippians 2:10.

๐ŸŒฝ Psalms 105 and 106 recalls the detailed information about the Israelites victory in Egypt and their wilderness journey. They are instructions for us to face any virus, plagues, pestilence, and lockdowns. The Israelites were in lockdown in Egypt and in the wilderness and they made in the Promised Land from being slaves to become a mighty army.

๐ŸŒฝ Just reading and meditating on the victories and the inheritance they got should bring us hope in any hopeless situation because it is the same Yahweh who has become our Abba Father in Christ Jesus. The Presence of God that went ahead of them is in us through Christ. Victory is ours in Christ Jesus. We are victors and not victims of our circumstances.

๐ŸŒฝ Child of God, Remember this, seeking God’s face should be our lifestyle; not as a last resort after trying everything else. Those who are in the habit of seeking God are working for God in this pandemic situation, while others are giving it a try. It is God Who desires that we should. It is God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, Who stirs us and convicts us to acknowledge the need of Him in our lives.

๐ŸŒฝ We should be seeking the Lord evermore as we are going through this unprecedented lockdown, because the joy of the Lord comes to us when His face shines upon us. The joy of the Lord will give us His strength, Nehemiah 8:10. We cannot abide in Him unless we seek His strength. We need to be strengthened “with all might by God’s Spirit in our inner man”, Ephesians 3:16 to stand against the devil’s fiery weapons. Our strength comes when we are diligently seeking God in prayer and are feeding on God’s Word, having fellowship with godly believers, confessing Christ and bringing others into the Kingdom.

๐ŸŒฝ When we seek His face and His strength, the light of God will shine on us, the joy of salvation will be in us and we can teach transgressors, and get them by the power of the Holy Spirit, converted to God, Psalms 51:12-13โ€ฆ Amen. ๐Ÿ™
