Day 44, 270 Days Bible Reading, Thursday, 27.8.20.✒️

In this Lockdown, the Word of God has to be Plainly taught as God Plainly said Write Plainly… Deuteronomy 27:8

🎺I have never seen such confusion among church folks in understanding the times we are living in and to interpret the Bible truths in this pandemic, which some see it as the work of the devil to hinder God’s work and others see it as the work of God as judgement. And there are those who believe it is a judgement for the world and others who think it is judgement for the church. Some believe the Tribulation is happening now and others think we are going to be Raptured any moment.

Why is there so much different opinions and version?

🎺God has said that He will make His Word plain to us by the Holy Spirit. How much time are we spending with God? How much time are we listening to God? How much time are we spending reading the Word?

🎺There are three references where God has plainly said to make His Word plain by speaking or writing

Habakkuk 2:2…..And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.

John 16:25….These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

2 Corinthians 3:12….Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech

🎺After Moses had done all his Preaching and Teaching, all that Israel had to do was to Obey the Word and do the Word.
They were instructed to build a Special Altar with Natural Stone. No Carving tools should touch the Stones. Offerings and Sacrifices were to be made on the Altar. They were to write all the Laws taught by Moses on the Stones PLAINLY and CLEARLY. This command was carried out by Joshua, in Joshua 8:30-32.

🎺In Deuteronomy 27:8, there were three clear instructions given so that the Written Law could be plainly seen, read and understood. It should not be written on any Carved Stone, it should be Whitewashed, and it should be Plainly Written. Even the instructions were Plain so that it can be carried out exactly.

🎺God didn’t want any handwork of man on the stone, no carving or decorations. Nothing to distract or draw attention to. Nothing but God and God’s Word should take the Center Place. The Glory of the Word and the Stone Carver’s decorative skills was not going to be in competition for attention to his work, taking away the Glory to be given to God, Deuteronomy 27:5.

🎺The whitewash on the stone with lime will bring out the written word clearly. We should make the Word of God easily accessible to everyone. It must standout. It must be seen clearly, Deuteronomy 27:2.

🎺They were to write Plainly and Clearly on the Stone so that it can be read easily anytime. We have to make the word of God accessible for everyone, to be clearly understood, so that it can be applied in the lives of those around us.

🎺Anytime the Word of God is Presented, it must be clearly understood. Preaching should have clarity. Our pulpits sermons should be plainly understood with clarity to impact the World around us. What is so alarming is that most of the forwarded messages are without the right references from the Bible!

🎺Dear Child of God, It is time we took the Bible Reading and Studying seriously. We have to be Willing and Obedient to enjoy the fruit of the land we have been given, Isaiah 1:19. There is no short to knowing God. You can’t outsource your spiritual growth to someone else. Jesus said, my sheep will hear My Voice, John 10:4

🎺There’s so much voices out there especially in this pandemic times manipulating people’s fear and anxiety. God will speak to each one of us through His Holy Spirit in us who will lead us into all truth. The Word of God is will take us through out of this lockdown, as it is both a lamp and light to guide us, Psalm 119:105, no matter how dark it is. All you have to do is sit down, be still and switch it on through the Word….Amen🙏
